Therapy is a collaborative process designed to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change in your life. It is a confidential space where you can explore thoughts, emotions, patterns, and relationships without judgment.
Therapy is not about being “fixed.” It is about building awareness, developing skills, and strengthening your ability to respond to life in ways that align with your values. Whether you are working through anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, identity exploration, or life transitions, therapy offers both insight and practical tools for growth.

Choosing a therapist is an important decision. Research shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of success. You should look for someone you feel comfortable speaking openly with and someone who makes you feel heard, respected, and understood.
Consider practical factors such as areas of specialization, therapeutic approach, availability, location (or virtual options), and insurance compatibility. It is also appropriate to schedule a consultation call to ask questions and get a sense of whether the fit feels right. Trust your instincts. Therapy works best when there is a strong sense of safety and connection.

Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, grounded, and direct in a supportive way. I offer a space that is inclusive, affirming of all identities, and open-minded. You can expect a balance of warmth and thoughtful challenge.
Our work will be collaborative. I will listen carefully, ask meaningful questions, and help you identify patterns and practical strategies. I believe therapy should feel both safe and productive. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, while still working toward meaningful change.

Getting started is simple. Reach out to schedule an initial consultation. During that first conversation, we will briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to work on, and whether we are a good fit.
If we decide to move forward, we will schedule your intake session. The first session focuses on understanding your background, current concerns, and goals. From there, we create a plan that is tailored to your needs and begin the work together.
